App for the simulation of ball screws


Duration: 30 min

This app allows you to configure all relevant parameters of a ball screw and to determine the following parameters:


  • Deformation of the spindle
  • Deformation of the nut
  • All ball related results such as:
    1. Ball contact forces
    2. Contact pressures
    3. Contact angle
    4. Contact ellipses (length and width)

Since real 3D FE models are automatically generated and calculated in the background, our apps allow you to calculate the properties of ball screws much more accurately than with the classic Excel-based calculation tools.
