Installation

Meshparts is a portable desktop app and does not require an installation.

These are the fews steps needed to get the app running on your system (Windows 10, 64 bit):

1. Download the main app
   We strongly advice to leave the downloaded app in the default Downloads directory. Optionally you could move the files to another directory that provides full access such as C:/Users/Public.
2. Download the starter app
   We strongly advice to leave the downloaded app in the default Downloads directory. Optionally you could move the files to another directory that provides full access such as C:/Users/Public.
3. From your directories and files browser (Windows Explorer), open the Downloads folder, right click on meshparts.exe and create a link to your Windows Start Menu.
   Now, whenever your want to start Meshparts, you can start it from the Windows Start Menu.
4. If you are a new user, you will need to register with your name, e-mail and phone number.
   Just start the Meshparts app, enter your data into the splash screen and sign up as a new user.
   Check your inbox and confirm your identity.
   Now click on "Sign in" in the Meshparts splash screen.
5. The first time you run Meshparts, the software will install some additional tools and interfaces to installed CAD software on your computer.
   Some of these additional tools are required, some are optional. Carefully read the messages on program startup and decide how to continue.
